The Ultimate Wedding Songs ListI am posting here a copy of a list once maintained at Desiboard, this list was created by one of it's former moderators Anu and myself with the contributions of former Desiboard members and anonymous HF members in response to a request by a DJ. I am only posting it here in the hopes that it will help others. Our goal was to create 'A comprehensive list of popular and traditional wedding songs'. This list is, as many playlists are, a work in progress, with everyone's help it will only get better, so additions, corrections, etc are most welcome! It has a Punjabi slant because the people involved in making it were all Punjabi, so feel free to add other categories, Dandia, for example. I have many more to add to this list and to refine it further in terms of Hindi Soundtrack, Pop, Punjabi Folk, Bhangra, etc, and will edit the list accordingly with time permitting. I'm also way behind in recordings. And will much more likely respond at HF. It's better to request in the appropriate forum here, that way if I don't have them, or don't have time to get to them soon, someone else may have them and have the time to share the files.

Otherwise I will get to them eventually. Please don't make your requests in this topic though, I'd like to keep this section of HF upload/download free - discussion of lists only, thanks. I do make an effort to get to all requests though, unless a person is a bumper lol, bumping request threads just annoys me (especially if it's done many times a day or week) and I don't answer them.

Also, if I suspect a person had registered under multiple names to bump their own threads I don't help them either. So many request threads I see 'new People' bumping with 1 or 2 posts to their names, never to be seen again. I would suggest posting a request list in Sangeet Ke Sitarey since they are songs they are likely to be from difft artists and MDs.
