Starbound Character Editor Mod

I can't seem to get this mod to work at all.I've done everything I can to get it to function (Things such as going into the MODINFO and changing Offended Koala to Enraged Koala etc). The closest I got to get it 'Working' was to get part of the UI for the Modded Species tab to show up. And when I say a part of it I mean the very edge of it. You can just barely see the black portion in between the bottom and top grey portions of the UI.So if anyone knows a solution please do let me knowEdited by argonianlord, 09 March 2014 - 01:35 PM.

For BaconBot posted showcase items, please reach for support at the workshop page! This mod adds several more idle poses to character creation. If you've ever created a character and thought 'I want these arms, but with those legs' and found that the combination you were thinking of wasn't in the list, then this mod might be for you! Unless the combination you're thinking of isn't here either, in which case there are probably a few other mods out there doing this same thing. The new poses can be chosen at character creation, and will be chosen by newly-created NPCs at random. This will also apply to any modded race that uses the default array of poses. Any player character or NPC that chooses one of these poses will remain this way even after uninstalling the mod.You CAN change the pose of an existing character, but it's complicated. Basically you have to decompile your '.player' file using 'Starboundwin32dumpversionedjson.exe' (via the command line), manually change the 'personalityIdle', 'personalityArmIdle', 'personalityArmOffset', and 'personalityHeadOffset' entries to match the pose you want (hint: make a new character with the pose you want and decompile that too), and then recompile it with 'Starboundwin32makeversionedjson.exe'.

Jul 01, 2014  Before we get to the mods, first download the Starbound Mod Manager. The game doesn't yet offer official mod support, but this third-party application does a. I'm not certain, but I believe they are asking about a mod that lets you change the race and appearance of a character that is already made. Like, taking them back to the character creation screen without starting over. Which, I do not know the answer to. Well, I know for certain there is no mod for that.

Make sure you keep a backup of your character file in case anything goes wrong! If you don't know how to use the.exe files, you have to access them via the command line or a.bat file. Google is your friend!
