Howdy all,I was following for modding Oblivion with Mod Orgnaizer, and things were going well. I had Alternate Start and OBSE Script Tester running, so I decidd to move on to part 2. I did some.ini tweaks, cleaned the DLC with TES4edit, installed QARL's Texture pack, and a few others.Then I went back to run the game again, but it wouldn't even launch. I used the launcher icon, the launcher showed up, but the 'play' button simply closed the launcher without actually running the game. I then tried launching TES4.exe from the main game folder, but the error window 'Application Load Error 5:000065434' popped up.I thought maybe I had done something wrong or broken something, so I tried undoing changes to get it playable again. But nothing worked. Attempted fixes included:.

deleted hook.dll and mopath.txt from OBSE scripts folder every time they showed up. disabled each mod individually. disabled all of them. restored default.ini. restored default DLC.esps. turned off MO workaround mode and just tried to launch vanilla.

verified file cache through steamGoogle showed several other people who had this problem, but I couldn't find any unifying factor. Some said it had to do with Oblivion being installed on another drive than Steam (my game library is stored on a separate SSD), but I found other people without the Steam version also received the error, and I was able to play the game earlier in the day regardless of file location.Has anyone else encountered this problem?
