Nexus Mod Manager Won't Install Mods
- I use nexus mod manager and then just click the 'download with NMM' to download the file. NMM downloads it, and then I just double click the mod to install it. From the forumsProblem: When I click the Download with Manager button on the Nexus, nothing happens.Possible solutions: There are many reasons why this may happen. Please try these possible fixes:Click the globe Globe button.Go to the Nexus tab in Settings and click the Associate with 'Download with manager' links button.Go to your ModOrganizer directory and run the nxmhandler application. If the program is pointing to Mod Organizer, click the Register Active button, click yes at the prompt, and close. I had the same problem initially, but I quickly found a way that worked for me, which I will explain:Start by going into your game's folder, which can usually be found under steam/steamapps/common/skyrimOnce you've done that, locate the Mod Organizer folder and go into it. Once there, locate the executable named 'nxmhandler' and open it.Once in there, it should already have located Skyrim, but if it has not, then help it on it's way and locate it. After that, you simply click on it once and clicks on the button saying 'register active'.This fixed my problem and I hope it fixes yours!.
As a temporary workaround, you can download the mods manually and still use them through MO. Download using 'download manually' link. Save archive to (/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Mod Organizer/downloads/). Open MO and navigate to Download tab on the right. Right-click the mod and select 'Query Info' to retrieve Nexus metadata. Install!If it asks for a Nexus ID when you query info you can find a mods Nexus ID at the end of it's URL. So for example the Nexus ID for is 64798I'm sorry I don't have an actual solution to your issue but this will at least let you download and use mods through MO until it gets figured out.
